This 25th assist allows him to make history, becoming the first French player in one of the top five European leagues to achieve this feat in the 21st century, according to Stats Foot. Franck Ribery, also with Bayern Munich at the time, came close to this mark in 2011-2012, a season where he ended with 24 assists.

A category where he leads by far in the top five European leagues (Germany, England, Spain, France, and Italy), ahead of Red Devil Bruno Fernandes (17 assists in all competitions) and Barcelona’s Firmin Lopez (16).
